Fans Will Enjoy The Addition Of More Racing With New US FPV Drone Racing League and RC Dirt Surface Racing

Costa Mesa, CA– The 14th annual RCX event returns with more action to the OC Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa, CA March 12 & 13, 2016. RCX, the world’s largest Radio Control and Action Technology Expo, showcases and celebrates all things in the world of radio control, action technology, drones, robotics, aviation, racing and more. Record-setting crowds are expected for two days of adrenaline-fueled, nonstop action and the unparalleled opportunities to see, try, and buy the industry’s most cutting-edge products and tech all in one place.

More than 16,000 enthusiasts packed the aisles and exhibitors’ booths at RCX last year. Returning event features are sure to please fans with more interactive displays and industry vendors on hand. Experts will showcase the hottest products, show specials and demos at RC playground. The newly expanded UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle)/Drone Village will include more demos, spectacular Drone Film-Festival clips, question-and-answer sessions with drone experts, and two full days of FPV (first-person view) Drone Racing League action hosted by Space OneFPV. A new, massive RC dirt surface-racing course built by Motorhead Raceway. The track boasts intense jumps, turns and terrain for both electric and nitro RC car racing. Dubbed the “Great American Outdoor Race”, racers will battle and showcase their RC driving and model building skills in addition to plenty of demos, wrecks and freestyle action.

The RC-Retail Marketplace event favorite, “try-me” tracks, from Horizon Hobby and Traxxas will see plenty of action. Plus, there will be a 3D demo area, model rocket building, robots, drag racing, a thrilling Monster Truck Ride along, and more. Full-size horsepower will be on display with vehicles such as the Traxxas Chevrolet Camaro SS that Funny Car pilot Courtney Force races.

“The show is rocking this year. The energy is high, and everyone is having a good time. We couldn’t be having more fun! The crowds are going big this year, and we are going big,“ said Damron Atkins of Traxxas, at last year’s show.
